What A Difference A Year Makes - Continued from Home Page -
The first, and most obvious change to The Purlin Mill web site is the web page header. We wanted to create an eye catching graphic design that reflects the creativity and diversity of steel in the construction industry. Visit www.pbsbuildings.com under the “Projects and Slideshow” tab for examples. The second change was to replace our static navigation bar with a new “Flash” (as in Adobe Flash) design. You will notice that the page tab flashes for the page you are currently on. If you are on a sub-menu page, the tabs do not flash. The tabs will also flash when you run your mouse over them. If you are running a browser that does not support Adobe Flash, you can still navigate our web site with the standard menu bar located at the bottom of each page. We have added an interactive Google Map to make it easier for you to find us. You can look up our location on the Google map; zoom in and out; and drag the map to find other locations. You can also see a satellite view. All the great interactive functions you expect from Google maps is located on our “Contact and Downloads” page. You will not see The Purlin Mill building and the road we constructed on the “Satellite” view because Google satellite images have not been updated to include these land improvements as yet. But keep visiting our “Contact” page to watch for the update. Lastly, we have added an interactive slide show on this page to take you through the construction and operation of The Purlin Mill.

Here is a recent image of The Purlin Mill. But things didn’t look so tidy a year ago. We have included a slideshow to take you through the construction process. We’ve also included a music file below this picture. Click on the start buttons for both and enjoy.
